This project offers free seminars in the fields of skills building and business development for local producers and non-profit organisations. It has also given a chance of integration and networking among the local actors. We have collaborated with HIGGS for these seminars due to their expertise in training organisations.
As a local non-profit organisation, we have been aware of the fact that the modern era creates many difficulties for local producers but also for clubs, cooperatives, sports associations and all other non-profit organizations. The intensifying economic crisis combined with the leaping technological progress bring us face to face with new challenges that require innovative tools and radically different ways of thinking and dealing.
That is why we have come up with a project where we have organised a series of free seminars to provide advice and training to such organizations and businesses so that they can organize their production process more efficiently, optimize the quality of their goods and services, taking advantage of the new field of possibilities that technology opens up as well as to promote their work more widely.
This project has been a great opportunity for building skills and business/project development. But, at the same time, it has created a chance of integration, networking, and sharing ideas for the local actors whether they are producers or non-profit organisations. We, staff and volunteers at the OpenSpace who was both the organiser and the host, have also benefited immensely from the project not only by following the interesting seminars but also by getting to know many creative people with very exciting projects who attended our seminars.
